Lead support contact for more than 40 college newspapers. Responsible for setting up and troubleshooting all WordPress-powered client sites. Cover initial introduction to and continued development of their interaction with WordPress. Worked on interface and bug testing for the Edit Flow WordPress plugin. Worked on multiple site and page design projects for clients.

Provide assistance with a variety of professional-level multimedia applications (i.e. Photoshop and Final Cut Pro). Print poster-size graphics projects for students. Train incoming consultants in use of applications and plan semester-long presentations for campus.
Web Manager, Whitman College Pioneer
2008-2009 | Walla Walla, WA
Responsible for maintaing the website of the campus newspaper. Won the 2009 ACP Best in Show award two months after relaunching the site. Re-designed site with a custom WordPress theme. Implemented a web-first workflow using WordPress and trained a staff of over 40 in how to manage and edit content through the CMS.

Created a new web presence for the student government and student radio station at Whitman College. Designed site with a custom WordPress theme and trained staff in updating content. Provided support throughout the year for staff as they updated the sites.

Rented pontoon and ski boats as well as jet-skis to customers. Responsible, as manager, for assessing any damage that occurred during the rental. Drove boats for customers during wakeboard and water-ski lessons.

Responsible for working with the Director of the Whitman College Center for Teaching and Learning on a means of redesigning the center’s website to better serve faculty. Create a design to organize information in such a way that it’s accessible for faculty.
Research Assistant, Monte Polizzo Archeological Dig
Summer 2008 | Sicily, Italy
Worked with a professor of ancient history for 4 weeks on archeological research. Responsible for cataloguing and classifying 7th-century BCE pottery sherds. Also worked with another professor on photographing and cataloguing 3 years worth of dig material.
